Grant writing

I have spent the past few months working with various not for profit organizations looking for and applying for grants.  Grant writing takes a discipline that is related to business planning but more complex.  Not only do I have to understand your plans and strategies for your organization but I have to come to an understanding of how your strategy can fit with the strategy of the funder of grants.  Though this takes some time, it's important that all applications start with a clear understanding of both.  A successful grant application will support you in your future plans and also meet the needs of the funder in their plans and strategies.
